SENshine

SENshine Embrace helps schools deliver better SEND support by giving teachers practical, evidence-based tools to act early and improve outcomes for pupils. It serves a wide range of stakeholders including teachers, SENCOs, school leaders, multi-academy trusts, local authorities, and families, creating a more connected and efficient support system. By embedding into everyday school workflows and using AI to enhance decision-making, the platform enables schools to do more with limited resources while keeping professional judgement at the centre.

SENshine Embrace is tackling one of the UK’s biggest education challenges: the SEND crisis. Founded by Ben, a former tech and education entrepreneur, and Sonal, an experienced teacher and inclusion leader, the platform is designed to empower teachers to better support children with special educational needs and disabilities.Today, over 20 percent of pupils are identified as having SEND, yet schools are under increasing pressure, with limited resources, long diagnosis wait times, and growing expectations from new reforms. SENshine Embrace responds by shifting the model from dependency on external specialists to empowering teachers with practical, evidence-based tools they can use immediately. The platform enables early intervention through simple, actionable strategies, helping teachers support pupils in real time rather than waiting months or years for specialist input. It also provides visibility for SENCOs, school leaders, multi-academy trusts, and local authorities, creating a more connected and efficient system. The impact is clear. Better outcomes for children, reduced pressure on schools, and a more scalable, sustainable approach to inclusion. SENshine Embrace is not just a tool, it’s an entire operating system for delivering SEND support at scale.
