ReelLife Conversations

Meet Louise Callin, Co-Founder and CEO of ReelLife Conversations. Louise began her journey with ReelLife after years of caring for a loved one with dementia, determined to create something more meaningful than transactional care. Since then, she’s launched a personalised reminiscence app built on therapeutic research, secured early traction with major care home groups, and attracted interest from national charities. Looking ahead, Louise is focused on delivering a full product launch, expanding partnerships, and helping families around the world bring connection, joy, and dignity to the dementia journey.

In this episode of Founder Story, Co-Founders Louise and Tony share how personal experience and deep empathy led to the creation of ReelLife Conversations: a digital reminiscence tool that helps carers and families spark meaningful conversations with people living with dementia. By using family photographs as prompts, ReelLife offers a simple yet powerful way to move beyond everyday care routines and foster moments of connection, understanding, and joy.

With features designed to gently guide conversations, such as linking photos into a narrative journey while ensuring a safe and positive user experience, the app is already receiving heartfelt feedback during its pilot phase. Backed by research and collaborations with leading dementia organisations, ReelLife is on a mission to help carers make every interaction count, turning visits and shifts into more uplifting, enriching experiences for everyone involved.
